In honor of our 100th blog, we are featuring our 'Meme'. It is a game of tag played in the blogging world. We've been tagged by Cammie but since this site is about the whole family, we tried to come up with some new points about each person. But first, the rules (because I am a girl who follows the directions to a 't' - hey that could have been one of my points!) So here you go: Enjoy and thanks for reading!
The Rules: “Each person posts the rules before their list, then they list 8 things about themselves. At the end of the post, that person tags and links to 8 other people and then visits those peoples’ sites and comments letting them know that they have been tagged, and to come read the post, so they know what they have to do.”
1. Benjamin took his first plane trip at 6 weeks. Now that would seem as though he was on his way to a busy travel life but that has not been the case. He didn't even make it to Missouri until he was 5 months old!
2. Noah can give directions to a number of places around town. He knows how to get to Grandpa's, the swimmin' poooool, Target, the post office, and the street where all the diggers are working. Just get the corner and wait and he will tell you, "Dis way, mama. Dat way, mama," and he points too.
3. Stephanie is deathly afraid of driving or even riding on highways. She would rather drive for 45 minutes on city streets with stoplights at every corner than hop on the highway and arrive in 10 minutes. When the weather is good, she blames it on semis but if there were no trucks, she would probably be able to come up with another excuse pretty easily.
4. Christopher cannot drive a stick shift. His family did not have one when he was learning to drive and he has not ever owned one himself. He is a very good sport, though, and will give it the old college try with enough prodding. But make sure you go potty before he gets started because there is a lot of laughing involved. I mean, a lot. And, it is probably best if you do not choose a street with stop lights at the top of hills.
5. Benjamin wants to work in Quality Assurance when he grows up. He can find the tag on any item in less than 10 seconds and will spend hours studying it.
6. Noah is addicted to U-tube. Whenever he sees someone on the computer he comes running over and climbs up on their lap asking to watch 'Animal play the drums.' Of course we come across a number of other items to watch in the process. He's even been known to watch Kermit speaking foreign languages. If you have never checked it out, you should. You can find anything on there - including Grandpa Doug marching with the Scottville Clown Band.
7. Stephanie thinks nap time is the best time of the day - not just for children but also for adults. It was her favorite part of living in Spain and something she still gives in to on occasion. Luckily she found a husband who is also a big fan.
8. Christopher is a gas buddy. While driving around town, he scours gas stations to update the national website gasbuddy.com (or locally, kcgasprices.com). While they look for such information as what amenities the stations offer, he mostly is involved to tell others where the cheapest gas can be found at any particular moment. For instance, we bought gas today for just $2.79. You know what they say, 'A penny earned...' So, thanks, Christopher for helping others save those pennies.
And that is that. Hopefully you have learned something new about at least one of us. Now, we are supposed to tag 8 more people but since only 3 read our site, and 2 of those have already done it and the 3rd doesn't have a site, we can't. But, thanks, Cam, for thinking of us and giving us the chance to share about ourselves!

How fun!! THanks for playing!
Mitch can't drive a stick shift either. Can fix anything on a car, but can't drive it if it has a manual clutch! He will be happy to know he's not the only man in the world whose wife can and he can't!
Is it wrong that I'm giggling at you? Cause I remember this stuff!
And thanks for posting this cause I didn't get a chance to get the directions so now I have them and complete my task.
