In case you were wondering, yes, we are THAT family. We donned our matching shirts today and set out to do all we could on our last full day.

Today was the first day we decided to split up. Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Scott, and Uncle Joel went to Downtown Disney. We decided we would head back to the Magic Kingdom. Since Abby was now an official ear-owning-Campbell, we made our way to Mickey's for some pictures. But we stopped for some photos along the way...

Yes, that is right. Noah caught Tinker Bell! He was a little surprised at first to see this picture but then he remembered exactly how it happened. "I just heard her flying by and I reached right out and caught her right in my hands." And we have the proof, so he can't be lying. So then back to Mickey's. Abby was so excited to finally meet the mouse that she had heard so much about she reached right out and.... bit him.

Being the nice guy he is, he didn't get made. He almost giggled, I think. The boys were old hat by this point and knew exactly what they were to do.

We hit some of the boys' favorites - Monsters, Inc and Buzz Lightyear.

A quick lunch, a hurried view of a parade and it was time for the Country Bear Jamboree. Are kids really still fascinated by these original attractions? Yes. We passed the rest of the day going on rides as we passed them. It was nice to have no schedule to worry about (dinner was not until 8:45PM). We just kind of let the boys do as they pleased and followed along. (We imagine this is even more fun when you are not lugging huge backpacks and a stroller.) When it was time to go, we made our way up to the exit to watch the fireworks. I have to wonder if it ever gets boring to see that show over and over.

It was, of course, fun this time because Benjamin saw it for the first time. He really wanted to fall asleep but he was able to keep himself awake just long enough for the show. From there we caught the monorail over to the Contemporary Resort for dinner at Chef Mickey's. This is where Grandpa & Grandma chose to celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary. Being Disney's 'Year of Celebration' they got these fancy pins to wear and a special dessert.

My cousin Amie and her boyfriend Andy who both work at Disney were able to join us for dinner.

Benjamin slept through the meal and, unfortunately, also through the family picture. (We managed to spend a whole week together and not get a single picture of all of us together. So, if anyone is schooled in Photoshop, please let us know.) Because our reservations were so late, we knew transportation back to our hotel would be slim-pickins. To avoid the disaster of our first night, we opted just to head right out the door for a taxi. We got back to our rooms and started the long, sad process of packing our bags to go home.

Ok, I LOVE LOVE that picture of Bonnie and Abby!!
And I saw Bonnie's pin and couldn't figure out why I didn't know they had gotten married the same time as we did... but I figured it out!
I'm in agreement LOVE the photo of Bonnie and Abby.
And I can help with Photoshop ;)
I, TOO, LOVE THE PICTURE OF aBBY AND GRANDMA...makes it unanimous, right? No better way to celebrate than with all our family together! Hopefully, we can get our little Benjin in the photo somehow to complete the celebration! Thanks, kids, for our new video camera which we have learned to use pretty well...JUST TURN ON AND OFF!!!
