Disney - Day Eight

With only a few hours to spare in the morning, we twisted Grandpa & Grandma's arms to keep Abby and we took the boys back to Hollywood Studios. The boys donned their special hats from Uncle Scott and off we went. We wanted to do the Toy Story ride again. Just as fun the second time and because we got there first thing, we had virtually no line. Always a good thing. We also wanted to meet our good friends Buzz and Woody. The waiting line was pretty fun as they had it set up like parts of the movie set so the boys got to try out a few scenes. We also wanted to see Lightning McQueen and Mater. As luck would have it, we walked right past the Power Rangers. I am not sure where he learned about them, but Noah had been talking about them all week. He begged us to go back by there so he could get his picture with the pink ranger. (Apparently, she is his favorite.) After attempting in vain to buy our favorite candied apple, we said good bye to the parks and headed back to the hotel for the last time. (But first we had to get our picture taken with THE brooms...) We caught a quick lunch and then the shuttle back to the airport. We had a really long wait at the airport and Noah did his best to keep his legs going. I guess he knew what would happen when he finally stopped moving. Now is that cute, or what? Clutching his cell phone - just in case Disney calls and asks him to come back... Unfortunately, we had to wake him up as we got on the plane and he did not go back to sleep. He did ride very well, though, and appreciated that other people were watching videos around us so he could watch over their shoulders. Grandpa Campbell picked us up at the airport with Wendy's in hand. The boys gobbled up their food and were out like lights. I carried Noah in and got him all ready for bed without him ever waking up. So, with another Disney trip behind us, I think it is safe to say that everyone had a great time. As this post is being typed after the fact, I can tell you that Noah asks EVERYday when we will be going back to Disney. In fact one day Abby was babbling away and I asked Noah what he thought she was talking about. He looked at me and said, "She wants to go back to Disney and stay at the Pop Century Resort." So, I guess that settles it. If the youngest one is in, we all are. MANY thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Randolph for another wonderful vacation. And, in case you were wondering, we are ready to head back any time you are.
