We didn't get around to getting family pictures at Christmas. Benjamin had scratches on his face for his birthday so we didn't do his 4 yr. pictures either. With it being Noah's turn, we decided to do it all at once. Knowing our children as we do, we weren't really anticipating a lot of compliance but we were very pleasantly surprised. (Lots of pictures to follow - not formatted correctly. Sorry about that.)
While we have been doing pretty good, we both agreed that today really made us miss our baby. The pictures, however beautiful, sort of felt like someone was missing. I think this has been brought on by a number of reasons not the least of which was being back to the same time of year when we found out we were expecting and all the excitement that went with that. We also had some friends lose a baby this week, so we ached with them. We are very thankful for these beautiful blessings, though. And so grateful we have these great pictures to always remember how precious they were on this very day.
