Teddy Bear Picnic

The day Benjamin has been waiting for all year, finally arrived. When he met with his teacher before school started, one of the things she mentioned they'd be doing was having a teddy bear picnic. Almost every day he has asked me, "Is today the day I get to take my teddy bear to school?" And I am soooo, soooo glad that we didn't miss it while we were in Florida. I am also glad that he is little and can still fit in this adorable little outfit.
(Yes it is the same one Noah wore at 2.5) It really just seemed perfect for the day. He said they read books with their bears, watched a Corduroy video, colored special bear pictures, made special bear-shaped sandwiches (although his bear didn't eat any), played parachute with their bears, and sang special bear songs in music. He (and Phineas, as his bear is now called) both had a bear-y wonderful day.

Oh, that little Benjamin..he is such a darling child. He loves school and whatever goes with it. Such cute pictures. Love seeing how they have changed...we forget how little they were once.

Ummmm, I can't really believe how little Noah looks in that picture. He looks like a baby...oh my, time has flown!
