Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning, Valentine's! What says "I love you" better than pancakes and bacon? I didn't want to work hard at shaping the pancakes so I used chocolate chips instead. Mmmm...Simple gifts for our sweeties. A t-shirt and some candy. Daddy got Abby something special, though. It comes with a story... Weeks ago, Abby was sent to bed with a bow in her hair. She was not sleeping and when daddy went in to check on her, she had the bow in her mouth and it had fallen apart. He took it from her and dropped it in the trash can - in her presence. She never forgot. Whenever she got upset she would bring it up. "Miss my bow. Daddy take it away. Put it in the trash. Want it back, Daddy. Want it back!" And she'd give a pathetic cry. This pink bow was daddy's attempt at getting back in her good graces. She was pretty excited about it. We'll see how long it lasts. And here she is showing off her Toy Story candy. After lunch we went up to school for Noah's Valentine's party. They were so cute going through their Valentine's. They read them so carefully and each would say, "Oh,______. Thank you." With such sincerity. Across the room. And all at the same time. It was very sweet. And this is what my family made for me. They each decorated some hearts. Abby colored. Bum wrote - with some help. And Noah drew. I loved it - and all of daddy's hard work getting it put together. I hope you all felt LOVED today.
