Today was Noah's 100th day of school - pushed back by a good week, thanks to snow days. (Which, by the way, it is - and has been - 5 degrees ALL DAY today. And let me tell you, that is COLD! It's also snowing again. Oh, joy. They are saying another 3 inches...) But, today was the big day. He took his poster in last week. He had to count out 100 items - 10 of 10.
Now, unfortunately, he hasn't quite come to grips with the fact that today was not his last day of school. His buddy Ian at one point even exclaimed, "And tomorrow we will all be 1st graders!" To which his teacher said, "No, no, no. I told you before it is not the last day of school." I'm guessing from her tone, they had talked about this before. (Remember the groundhog story?) So, now they all know it is 180 days. We will see how long they remember that.

Great job on the poster. What a super variety of objects. I'd love to have been there to hear them all counting....remembering bringing Noah back from Michigan last spring and him counting to 200 several times during the ride! Anxious to see what happens when you get him up for school today and he DOESN'T go into 1st Grade. (By the way, we saw Steph's kdg teacher last pm and told her the groundhog day saga....she's still laughing, I bet!...nodding YES as to what that discussion would have been in the kdg classroom with MORE asking questions!
By the way, Grandma has a question. If it's -5 out, why is Noah in a SHORT SLEEVED SHIRT?????
