Okay, so it's official - I cannot predict how ANY of my children will react in any given situation. The only difference? In this case, it was actually a good thing. I really did not think Abby was going to sit nicely for her haircut. I didn't even want to tell her about it and saved it until the very last minute - as we were headed there. I waited anxiously for her reaction. She calmly said, "Watch a movie. Watch "Thomas". Get sucker. Gonna eat it." (Have I mentioned we go to the 'haircut house' a lot???) I thought she'd change her tune when we got there. But she didn't. She even managed to wait through Benjamin's 30 minute haircut and was still in a good mood. She sat right in her chair.
Without the cape, thankyouverymuch.
Watched "Thomas".
Got her hair cut.
Got her sucker and even had it eaten before we got her out of the car.
I suppose this could be a benefit of waiting until they are two? Another benefit of waiting? Watching the two+ inches come off didn't hurt my heart nearly as much. I realize you can't really see the difference in her hair, but the day was monumental, none the less. Good job, Abs!

Good girl, Abby. Keep Mommy guessing as much as you can....that's the childrens' job!
She IS a girl after all and we do love having our hair done! Even Ms. Ella who screams and cries at a hair brushing LOVES a haircut. :-)
