The Castle

Christmas was a mere three weeks ago and Noah has logged more time on this Castle than any other toy - in his entire life. Now, it was Benjamin's gift, mind you, but Benjamin doesn't seem to mind, so why should I? He was having trouble focusing on his homework this afternoon so I sent him to his room for a few minutes to "get it together". When I went to get him out, he opted to stay in his room and play quietly. What's the big deal, you ask? NOAH DOESN'T EVER ASK TO PLAY QUIETLY BY HIMSELF - that's the big deal. I've so enjoyed watching him play with this castle - collecting all the knights through the house and setting them all up just so.
Now, Benjamin would LOVE to actually get to play WITH his brother at times like this, but Noah isn't ready for that. Maybe when he's 12, Benj. Until then, keep playing with your train set.
But maybe don't sit right on top of the track...
And speaking of Christmas, I should tell you that I have finally posted our Christmas pictures. (Remember I wasn't such a good blogger last year, so I am running a little behind.) You can see them here.
