Our weatherman predicted 6-8 inches of snow this winter. Turns out it all fell today. Noah had no school and they have already canceled classes for tomorrow - preschool, too. (I must have jinxed myself with my last post about "Free Tuesdays".) So here's what we did today.
Even gave mommy's car a semi snow wash.
Abby's favorite thing was eating snow.
(Note to self - make sure you only take her out when it is super fresh as she just grabs from everywhere and stuffs it in her mouth.) Daddy got out there, too - during his lunch hour, hence the dress clothes under the snow pants.
Not sure we will be getting back out as the temperature is supposed to drop to a high of 12 with a wind chill of -25. Woo-hoo! Turns out, that might be ok as they were just as excited about getting warmed up while watching TV.
Oh, and Whit, you think taking three kids out to eat is a lot of work... just wait until you have to dress them all for outdoor winter playtime.

I can only imagine! Yesterday I was huffing, puffing, and sweating by the time I got them dressed to go sledding. What a workout!!
