There is a little restaurant just down the street from my parents called the Wooden Spoon. It is a quaint little cafe with THE best omlettes and olive burgers. Several years ago they gave out coffee mugs in return for people bringing in their own. This way they can use them for decoration and if you have one there, they serve you coffee in your own mug. (cute, hunh?) They also have a lot of wooden spoons (no, really) and license plates. They did not have a Kansas plate yet, so we took one of our extras and Noah got to hang it on the wall. I'm ashamed to say I did not get a picture of him with it. Sorry about that. They also have a pond out back. The boys quickly figured out that they could ask for the day's leftover bread then take it out to feed the fish. One day we even saw a turtle. They LOVED this and asked daily to go to the "Whith'um Spoon" (thank you, Noah). I don't think they wanted to eat there, so much as ue them for bread to feed the fish.
