Noah asks all the time about having his friend Eric over. As his parents were busy moving, it seemed like the perfect time for him to be away from home for an extended time. It was definitely a win-win. Noah got to have Eric over and his parents made a lot of headway in their packing. I think his being away was a little harder on his mom than on him. He didn't have any trouble at all. The boys wanted to use sleeping bags.
(They came in backpacks and they wore them on their backs for the majority of the evening - even on the couch while they watched cartoons before bed.) We put them all in the boys' room and tried keeping Benjamin in his crib. No one was goin to sleep and Benjamin desparately wanted to play with the bog boys so I went in and ot him out. I thought he could just sleep in Noah's bed when it was time for sleeping. What I did not take in to consideration was that they were never going to decide it actually was time for sleeping. (Has it really been that long since I had as sleepover?) Around 11:00 I finally went back in and put everybody back to bed
(and surprisingly, they stayed. Daddy especially liked how Noah slept on the bare floor with his sleeping bag all wadded up in the corner.). Sometime I will have to just let them stay up and see how long they can go. They had such a blast they ask every time we see each other when they can do it again. Looks like it was a first of many nights these boys will have together. What fun!!
