Finally - The Fourth of July. This is a favorite family holiday. According to family bi-laws the fourth of July should include, first and foremost, a parade.
To be considered a success, it should also include extended family,
hats,
matching shirts,
fireworks, ice cream, a clown band, Subway, and prefereably a beach.
As you can see, Ludington is the perfect location for his holiday as it includes all of the above. (I am seriously considering a job with the Chamber of Commerce, in case you couldn't tell.) This year we had a couple of bonuses such as a family picnic after the parade. Uncle Joel and some friends played some music and the boys got to help.
Noah missed the afternoon nap
and ended up sleeping through the fireworks. Oops. Abby and Benjamin enjoyed them though.
