Noah's School - Week 2

Noah was very excited to get up and go to school today. (He has been asking to see Miss Sue and Miss Barb every morning for a week now.) Grandma Bonnie called to wish him a good day and asked if he had his lunch packed. He said he did. She asked what was in his lunch. He said, "Umm... I don't know!" He started this new phrase yesterday and it comes complete with the raised hands and shoulder shrugs. (Daddy and I are not sure where he learned it but we find it really funny.) He very happily went in to his class this morning. They started out in the playground so he showed us how he went down the slide then he was off to the trucks and diggers without so much as a look back. When we went back to get him after lunch, he had an art project to bring home. I asked him what he'd made and he said, "Umm... I don't know!" Then I went through a list of activities trying to find out what he did do...
"Did you read any books?"
"No."
"Did you sing any songs?"
"No."
"What did you have for a snack?"
"I don't know!"
So, I guess my question from last week as to how long it would take for him to get to this point has been answered. I have to say I was thinking it would take longer than a week. Now, he did go on to talk about a cabin although I couldn't get him to tell me where he saw the cabin and he couldn't remember who lived in the cabin. But he did like to talk about it. On a positive note, he barely made it through his book before he was asleep at nap time. So, whatever they did NOT do - it sure wore him out!!

Hey if you can get a couple hours free with school and THEN get a nap out of him -- good deal!

Ok, this was a week ago ... you're slacking on your duties.
