Noah Goes to Soccer Camp
Yes, you read that correctly - the 's-word' has been allowed in the Campbell house. See, we got a flyer in the mail about a Lil' Kickers program - soccer for 18 months to 9 year olds. And, we just happen to have a son within those age ranges that kicks anything and everything so we (mostly I) thought it would be perfect for him. After a little coaxing (and threatening to find someone else to take his place) daddy gave in. They had their first class this week (complete with uniforms - is there anything cuter than that???). Benjamin and I went to observe although I hope not to go every week. I think it will be a good experience for just daddy and Noah. There was a lot of running involved - both in the activities that Coach Mary suggested and in chasing after Noah and bringing him back to the right side of the field. Daddy's response was, "That's tiring." And even though he might not say as much, I think Noah had a wonderful time too. Now, please don't be concerned or think that we are forcing Noah into organized sports at such a young age. I promise this is just for fun - nothing more. We might as well enjoy the time we have when they want to spend time with us, right? Right. Who knows, maybe we will have the first professional drummer/pitcher/soccer player.
