Noah has been working on his "Thank You" notes. Much to my surprise, he did not complain about this - only about having to come in from outside to do it.
(We have had a beautiful weekend, so I can't say that I blame him.) I did break it up and only make him do 2-3 at one sitting.
He should be done by the end of the month. But look at how nicely he is writing!
And remember this was a kid that HATED holding a pencil when school started. I guess all his practice has payed off! It was a little funny to me that sometimes he spelled things right off my list and other times he felt like going it on his own.
I still haven't asked his teacher what her opinion is on this, but I just don't have the heart to correct it. It is just too cute and makes him seem so little and innocent. And in this period of him growing way too quickly for my liking, I'll take every opportunity for that that I can.

Bless his heart! I love it when they spell phonetically...it is just so darn cute! (Maybe his teacher wouldn't think so, but your elementary teachers sent class Thank You's and they did....they still think it's OK..so let's go with THEM!)
Wow Noah...what gorgeous writing you have!! Impressed!
