Today is my "day off." While the laundry is going, I am putting away clothes that I took out of the boys' closet while they were in Michigan. In August. Yes, you read that right. My kind husband has been letting them sit in the family room but I decided it was finally time to do something about it. But now I am not so sure that it is a good idea...
Last night while looking for the old cicada pictures I got way sidetracked on looking through family photos. Does anyone else have this problem? Once I start I just can't stop! I mean, don't get me wrong, my kids are cute now, but look at this!!!
I mean, SERIOUSLY! It kills me to look at these pictures!! And then the first clothes box I open has all of Noah's clothes in it that I saw in these pictures. Ouch. I can take a little comfort in knowing that what Noah wore at 3.5, Benjamin is just moving in to at almost 5. So, I can be thankful he is taking it a little slower. But, oh how it kills me to see these things that they are growing out of.... I realize there are more significant growth markers, probably, but I can't get any further than the clothes. The sweet, little, baby, underused, sweet-smelling, memory-holding clothes.
WOULD SOMEBODY GIVE THIS GIRL A BABY ALREADY???!!?! (God reads blogs, right??)
