We decided to break in the Halloween costumes a little early. (Like kids really need an excuse to dress funny and beg for candy, right?) We started this week's Family Fun Night with a stop at Bass Pro Shop.
They had about 8 candy stations set up but the kids loved wondering around and looking at all the stuff
- especially the animals.
Abby looked so experienced - it was hard to believe this was her first time out solo. (And daddy and I weren't sure what to do with ourselves not having to carry someone around! What if Halloween night is actually this easy!?!?!) And the boys haven't figured this out yet, but they should soon. (Again, free candy is involved so they will no doubt sense the power of "the cute sister".) It didn't take Abby long to figure out the guys at the fish counter were smitten with her.
She made more than one pass through the area. A little smile and a "tricktreat" and they'd put the candy back down for her to pillage.
We also decided to take advantage of the beautiful Fall evening (and a coupon burning a hole in our pocket) and took advantage of a Plaza carriage ride.
Every one had a good time.
