School Days

With two months now under our belts, I figured it was time to share some of what the kids have been learning at school.

Noah, among other things, has learned how to spell all of his colors.

Benjamin comes home each day with a new song or poem.

And Abby? Well, I guess she is learning things too...

Anyone have the name of a good preschool in town?

Just teasing. She actually has her biggest brother to thank for learning this song. He sang it all summer. (I think he learned it at Star Wars camp.) She just didn't tell us she knew it until we were sitting at lunch one day watching the dogs play in the back yard. Even though it is on my "top 5 List of Songs I hate the Most", I had to admit it was cute to hear her sing it. But then, what isn't? In real school news, we were dropping Benjamin off at school on Thursday and Abby's car door slid open right next to another van whose door was opening at the same time. She looked over and said, "There's Mason!" Just like she has been talking all her sweet life. His mom and I had to stand and "Auuuhhh... for a good couple of minutes. (Mason is in Abby's PDO class.) She said, "Well, Mason would probably say hi to you too, if he could." And I said I didn't know Abby could OR that she knew her classmates' names, but it sure was cute!
