Disney - Day 4
Today was a day of relaxation in between parks. We slept in and took our time getting around. We decided to go back to Downtown Disney for lunch then back to the hotel room for naps. If you saw my last post about getting the big group around and using the provided transportation, you'll understand that this did not go quite as quickly as we had hoped. It wasn't really a problem, though, as we had a very nice lunch. Noah ate every bite of his PB&J and apples (and even sneaked some of Uncle Scott's chips which was very, very funny) and Benjamin had a full bowl of clam chowder and his very own tomato wedge. (He thought it was just a squishing apple, we think, as he just picked it right up and shoveled it in.) We had hoped to make it to the Fort Wilderness campfire and sing-along that evening, but by the time we were up and around, we didn't have time. So, we ate dinner in the food court and then grabbed some seats by the pool to watch the evening movie on the big screen. "Monsters, Inc." was the flick of choice. Noah didn't do too bad watching it. Funny that you can't get his attention while watching a movie at home but here on the big screen, we had a hard time keeping him focused on the movie. Maybe sitting right next to the pool was partly to blame. It was a little chilly so we opted to send Benjamin back to the room with Grandpa and Grandma. When mommy went to pick him up, everyone EXCEPT Benjamin was worn out. Apparently they think he is a little active. I had no idea. And probably having been in a stroller for the last 4 days only added to the exercise he needed. Then it was on to bed for the much-talked-about trip to Mickey's House.

Boy! That little Benjamin covered more miles in our room during the movie than we had walked that day, I think! We were all exhausted trying to beat him from waste basket to bathroom to front door to suitcases. After all, there are only so many places you can put things out of the way in a motel room! The mirror on the closed bathroom door entertained awhile tho'. He loved that smiling baby!
Aren't you glad he did that with grandma and grandpa instead of Mom and Dad? He he ...
