The Soccer Suit

Here are some pictures of the much-anticipated soccer suit. We have yet to learn "Stand and smile at mommy," so these will have to do. He was very excited about getting it on. Luckily, it was cold and rainy this morning so it was the perfect morning to try it out. Noah says, "Thank you, Grandma Bonnie!" And here are a couple more soccer camp pictures - taken with the new camera so they are a lot lighter.I think they are half way through soccer camp at this point. Noah is doing pretty well at following directions and participating, which we are happy to see. He still gets distracted at times, but with 4 other classes going on at the same time, I think that is understandable. Today they worked on 'headers' and 'drop kicks'. Wish us luck on teaching "No, Noah. That is only for outside soccer playing..." And, last but not least, here is Noah with his mommy's head band on. I think he is just practicing for having long hair. He loves to wear this and gets it out often. But Noah has to put it on himself, so it is not always in the correct location, but at least he can get it to stay on now. His daddy is very pleased with this, I can assure you.

I'm so proud. I'm so glad one of the kids is still in soccer. I lost Hunter and now Colin is threatening. Aunt Rachel is so very, very sad. Tell Noah that if he sticks with it, I will move out there to coach his team since my nephews here don't care.

I've been waiting for you to say something... :) His dad will gladly hand over the reins to you on that one, assuming soccer falls in a different season than baseball...

Isn't he a living doll in that neat "soccer suit'? He looked so grown up at soccer camp when he walked off the floor saying, "Hi..Mommy, Hi..Benjamin, Hi..Uncle Scott, Hi...Granpa, Hi..Grandma. Noah's going for a water break!" and he marched into the "break room" like a professional athlete! Can't help but love this little "big kid"!! We love you Noah Gouglas!
