Makin' lemonade...

You know the old saying, "When life hands you lemons..." Well, that is just what we did. Noah ALWAYS wants to go outside. But as you will see from these pictures, it has been a little difficult as of late. Well, until mommy happened upon the perfect little rain coat. He marched right out to his favorite puddle in the driveway and ran back and forth for a good 20 minutes. (Lucky for him, his mommy also loves to play in the rain, so I didn't mind.) When he'd tire and need a rest, he just plopped down to sit for a minute. I tried to encourage him to use the step for that, but he thought it was too far away from the action. At first he'd sit in the grass, but eventually he ended up just sitting in the puddle. (I have no pictures of that because the camera went inside to stay dry with daddy.) So just take my word for it - it was adorable. Its been 48 hours now and his boots are still soaking. Maybe $14.99 for rain boots was not such a bad price... (Please forgive the picture quality. It was very dark and Noah has not learned the art of posing so these are all action shots and a little blurry...)
