They Craft

It has been a long time in the making but it would appear that my kids - all 3 - are finally interested in crafting! Abby and Benjamin have always been happy with a stack of paper some markers and glue, but this is more intentional.

I picked these little scarecrows and turkeys out at Michaels. They were 33 cents or something. I thought they might buy a little time while I was trying to prepare a meal or something. The kids were so excited about them! Abby and Benjamin did theirs during the day while Noah was at school. He came home and noticed them right away. I asked if he wanted to do one and he went running right to the table.

I found these Christmas ones in the $1 section at Target.

As soon as I mentioned that I had them, they all wanted them. While Noah was coloring his Santa he was asking me what I thought they might have to make for St. Patrick's Day because he just cannot wait to see. Oh how I hope the crafting companies do not fail my boy on this one!

And, yes, I do realize that I could easily put this stuff together myself. But if having it all pre-cut and giving him a picture to replicate is what it takes, then I will gladly give my $1 (or $3) to the cause.
