So, Santa actually arrived by helicopter. It was pretty exciting. I took a video of it. Unfortunately, one of my sweet children unknowingly deleted it. Oops.Once the big guy was on the ground, he invited everyone to follow him inside for some fun. We headed straight for the face-painting line.

There were a lot of people there and my kids were losing patience so we opted to not do anything else that day.

There were a lot of people there and my kids were losing patience so we opted to not do anything else that day.Yesterday they were finally able to go and see Santa. Noah was all about writing a letter as soon as he woke up.

(Grandma - click once on the picture/letter and it will open up so you can actually read it.) Be sure to read the last line in his gift request list. Little type-o made it a classic. And because Noah was doing it, Benjamin wanted to also.

He took his in the car while we were grocery shopping. He was asking me how to spell all the words, so when he got to the gift list, I suggested he just draw the pictures instead. He made a drum set, a xylophone, a keyboard, and a teddy bear.
We had our annual outing with our friends, the Potts Family. We went first to see the Muppet movie. (Super cute, if you are interested...) Then to the mall.
How about that Abby? She is getting closer! And she didn't even require her daddy to hold her. She actually went right up to tell Santa hello but when he asked her to sit on his knee she said no way. She just wanted to stand with her Noah. Awww... They remembered to tell Santa everything. (Abby told him a horse, a pony, and a unicorn, by the way.) And seemed pleased with themselves. Until we got in the car. Then Abby started crying because she couldn't find her toys. The boys did their best to explain that Santa doesn't give you the presents right away, you have to wait until Christmas. Or Christmas Eve as Noah argued. I'm not sure she ever accepted that but she did eventually stop crying. Now we just wait to see if Santa can remember what everybody said. Good luck, Santa!
