Our littlest son turned 5 today. Oh, how does this happen? Isn't this the same boy that looked like this just yesterday?
I have tried convincing him pretty much all year that he should stay 4, but he would have nothing to do with it. There are so many things about him that remain the same. He has the biggest smile (And I am pleased to announce that he has finally outgrown his 2T pants - well, in length anyway.)
And he still fits perfectly in his mama's snuggles. (Although, I would be willing to part with his middle of the night visits...)
In fact, that is why I have tried to convince him that he needs to stop growing. I don't want to see the day when he doesn't fit perfectly on my lap and I can carry him wherever he wants to go. But, that day is coming. And since we can't stop it, we are going to do our best to enjoy every day along the way.
Happy birthday, Benjamin! We love you!

I loved the walk down Memory Lane!! I remember that darling little guy and how he would snuggle while I rocked him. Love you Benjamin Scott!
