A Valentine Play Date

Last Thursday we got to go to the Geis house for our annual Valentine's play date. As always, we had a great time. I even managed to take pictures this time around - that never happens. Josie & Kyndal. Abby and Aspen. (If she looks a little disturbed, it's because she is. Aspen was mouthing a squirrel and Abby really didn't want her to do that but Aspen wouldn't let Abby have it.) Benjamin on the hunt for his Valentines. And then double-fisting microphones to serenade them. The real fun came after lunch. I missed the 'Simon Says' which included a mass "ABC" sing. It was pretty cute and I am sad I didn't get to tape it. But I did manage to get Abby downstairs in time to watch a rousing game of Duck-Duck-Goose. I was amazed at how well all the kids sat waiting their turn - especially the littlest ones who had to wait the longest to get picked. And, last but not least, a group shot attempt. We were missing Grace and Kadence and Audrey left before pictures, but really this wasn't too bad. What started as 6 babies has now grown to a group of 12 - with probably more on the horizon.
