What a Week!

Just to let you know we are still here... Thought I would briefly share some of the bigger happenings in our house this week.
1. Benjamin can say his own name. "Ben-jin". I love it. Everytime I hear it. I love it. I will try to catch it on video, but you know how that 'on-demand' stuff works...
2. We released our 6th and final butterfly (commonly referred to as Jake) in to the wild. (Much more on this when I have the time...)
3. Noah can "go" standing up!! He surprised us with this little trick. Apparently, they taught him at school. (I wonder what else he is going to learn at school...)
4. Noah ate a grilled cheese sandwich! (This is in addition to the lettuce, carrots, cabbage, and hot dogs he sampled last month...)
5. Noah is sleeping UNDER his covers! Since we have stopped swaddling him (at about 7 months) he has refused to use covers. That is not to say that getting covered up is not part of his nightly routine. However, as soon as we would leave the room, he would push the covers down to the foot of the bed. But, he got a new blanket last week and has since used his covers every night.
6. Christopher started a new work schedule, commonly referred to as 9/80. He will now have every other Friday off. That is 26 three-day weekends a year. We are very excited about this and he is [so far] doing a great job of getting to work early. I, on the other hand, am not.
7. Abby is still just being an adorable baby girl. She is really talking and cooing these days but AGAIN, I cannot catch it on film.

All for now! Some pictures for your enjoyment. (And just what is happening? Well, Noah wanted to hold the baby. Benjamin was not in favor of this idea. Benjamin gets to hold the baby, baby is not in favor of either idea. Noah is too cool to care.)

If those are 3 of the cutest little ones EVER!!!! Wait a few more days and then it's Grandma's turn to hold Abby! We are excited that Benjamin can say our names as well. Noah just carries on conversations like a little adult...love to hear him tell his Mommy to "tell Grandma...."! Anxious to see them all.
