3 Months
Little Abby Mae is now three months old and she continues to grow quite nicely. (Her daddy says she is chubby but I am encouraging words like "pleasantly plump" instead.) She is getting stronger and prefers to be upright now, as opposed to lying down. (We even got the Bumbo out for her. I'll post more about this later.) She is working on rolling and can get herself all over to one side but has not yet made the full twist. She is smiling more and more and mommy even got a little giggle out of her. (Wait until her brothers learn she can laugh!) Her big brothers continue to take great care of her and see that every inch of her body is covered with kisses at least once daily. She loves to talk about "Agoo." We are not sure what this word means but suspect it is some type of baby 'swear' word as she smiles and smiles when she can get someone else to say it. She has also used "gully" a few times. She had her first official photo shoot, although she refused to be caught smiling on camera.
Abby's biggest news this month is that she on her three month birthday she started sleeping in her very own room. Much to her mother's shagrin, she seems to be quite happy in there and is sleeping between 7-9 hours at a stretch. While she tried to fight it for a few days, she did get her first new-bed nap in the official in-my-own-bed outfit. (She prefers to be wrapped up TIGHT so these pictures were hard to get. AND she kept pooping in her clothes before I could get her picture. Sneaky little Abby...)
She is still being a little trooper and allowing us to cart her around to all of our activities. Let's hope this continues. Happy birthday, Abby!

I told you..."Agoo" is what she thinks everyone says when they see her or her wardrobe..."AW! CUTE!" When she gets older we'll ask her if I wasn't right. It is very hard to SEE Abby on the webcam because when someone brings her over to the camera...immediately we only see the back of brothers' heads as they need to get in and kiss her! After all, it has probably been a couple of minutes since they had given her any kisses!!! They do love their baby sister! AS DO WE ALL!!!
Happy Birthday Abby!! I'm so glad you got your very own room. And what a big girl sleeping for such long stretches! I think you're going to be just as sweet and wonderful as your Mommy!
