With another beautiful weekend to enjoy, we decided to take in our annual favorite - the Pumpkin Patch. We loaded up the hay wagon and went on our way.

Somebody was really excited about her Halloween clothes.

First stop? The big slide.

At various points in the day, they all tried the obstacle course.

Benjamin's favorite part was the punching bag at the end.

I'm thinking about putting one of these in the backyard. If he had something "legal" to fight, he might spend a lot less time in time out...

Fishing was also a favorite activity.

But the most fun was had in the corn pools. Much digging and pouring to be had. They were really dirty when they came out, but it was dirt - not sand - and that is so much easier to clean off!

She is serious about her corn digging.

The boys tried their hand at the tennis ball catapults.

And the ping pong ball thingy.

Noah was the only one to attempt the hay jumping this year. (Truth be told, I thought about it....)

B tried some basketball. He is pretty good for a boy who insists on shooting with just one arm each time.

Abby wanted to go with daddy in to the corn maze.

Benjamin was not happy that I suggest he go too.

And finally time for the pumpkin hunting. This was the first year we have been out there when it wasn't all muddy. I think Benjamin looked at every single pumpkin in the patch. Abby picked up the first one she came to. Noah was somewhere in the middle. But they all came together for a picture for their mama.

We go to the Farmer because the kids love it. It is definitely geared towards smaller kids and we know we will not get to go there too much longer, but we will enjoy it as long as we can.

What a fun-filled day. I didn't know there were so many different activities there. PS...I've wanted to get the boys a POP-UM BAG for ages, but was always told it could only be kept at my house! Sometimes Grandma can see how it could keep them from bopping each other like you just mentioned!!
