And it all started here. His very first skating lesson.

He had no apprehensions about heading out there.
Not even the fact that it was 8 girls and him. He had a true Benjamin-smile the entire time he was out there.

The poor kid fell A. Lot. (Sorry about the video orientation. Still trying to figure out the new phone.)
But he learned quickly to stand himself right back up and to keep trying. We were so proud of him.

Daddy hopes the hockey thing doesn't work out because he thinks the rink is too chilly. (Coming from someone who is at home on the baseball field when it is 120 degrees outside, I am not at all surprised by that...)
I just love seeing him so happy to do something.
PS. Aunt Marge - please notice that I did not wrap him in bubble wrap before sending him out on the ice. Of course, I can't promise that if he tries actual hockey some day...

We tried to go bowling last year on NYE. In Vegas. Yeah, right. They all book up about 6 months in advance! Who knew?!
What a Big Boy! Even with a couple of falls, his smile was soooo big! I'm so proud he made it quite a distance in the 2nd video without falling once! Great job, Benjamin. Love you.
