When Christopher got home for lunch today, I told him had I been in the 7th grade, today would have been the greatest day of my life. He looked somewhat puzzled and I am not sure my explaining it made it any better. But I chalk that up to the fact that he was not a 13-yr-old girl in 1987. So what happened you ask? Kirk Cameron called me. On the phone. He wanted to tell me about his new movie 'Fireproof' going on sale today at area Christian book stores. I took no offense to the fact that he answered none of my questions and appeared to be all business. I think he was just upset that we never made it to the theater to see his movie when it came out. I don't blame him, quite frankly. We should have gone. Anyhoo, it was a nice walk down memory lane for my old teenage self.
