Happy Birthday - Four Months!

Little Abby has reached four months. She is such an alert, happy baby. She has found her voice and loves to squeal and squeak. She is working on her laugh and her brothers think that is really funny. (Wait until she starts laughing out loud. We think Noah is a clown now...) She loves to look around and gets angry when she is laid down and can't see what is going on. She insists on sitting upright, especially at the table, so she can watch. I think she is trying to figure out how to get her hands on some real food. Abby is continuing to sleep well, sometimes sleeping as much as 12 hours at night. Her biggest news, though, is that she is rolling over. Back to tummy, just one direction so far. But she's working on the other side very hard so it shouldn't be long. New this month: baths in the bathtub; the Bumbo; and exersaucing; She doesn't know what to do with any of the toys but she likes to stare at them. She also got her first taste of ice cream (a Wendy's vanilla frosty) and has tried out the johnny-jumper. She is quickly learning how it works and, surprisingly, her brothers have not yet swung her in to the wall. She is learning how to put everything in to her mouth and has turned in to a drooly mess. I fear teeth are in the near future. This month Abby also got to travel to Vegas to meet her future husband, Miles. As you can see, it has been a busy month. We can't wait to see what month 5 holds for her.

Happy Birthday, little Abby! We can't believe how you are growing...and smiling...and I know from phone calls you are trying to get a few words into the conversations! Can't wait to see you next week.
