When I was little and started school, my mom used to go out with her mommy friends to "celebrate" surviving summer. I thought this would be a fun tradition to continue so I rounded up the other preschool moms sending kids off to school. I decided the Chicken House would be a great place to go as we all had younger children in tow. We were able to sit and talk and the kids could go play. I did mention that as we put the last children in to school, we could pick some place a little nicer, maybe, than the Chicken House. One mom even joked that we could go to a spa. Ooooh. We all (especially those of us sending off our first child) agreed that it was a great way to start our year. So after a little mommy-time, I let Benj and Abby pick our second activity. The Farmer was an easy pick. As it was only 85 degrees (and a little cloudy), as opposed to the 100+ we have been experiencing, we headed right over. The kids had a great time (as long as I wasn't trying to take a picture of the two of them and I wasn't making Abby feed the baby goats) and mommy enjoyed chasing just two kids.
