Welcome to the world Abigail Mae! Prayers were answered and our sweet baby girl arrived at 1:51PM. Mommy and daddy reported to the hospital at 7:00AM and things got underway around 8:00. For the most part, all went well. There was even time for a game of Trivial Pursuit which daddy graciously let mommy win by a landslide. Shortly after noon things started to progress rather quickly - perhaps too quickly for the trusty epidural. The end was not pretty but in less than one push little Abby was a free girl. There was much rejoicing in the room and it did not take the hospital staff long to decide that maybe mommy had had her heart set on a little girl. Not surprisingly, she is just perfect - if we do say so ourselves. She weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and 20 inches. (And that was almost two weeks early, remember? Yikes!)

Hey, congratulations, you guys! That's wonderful. :)
I'm noticing a pattern here...first Bonnie, now Stephanie :)
Congratulations! Here's to many happy years of tea parties, ballet recitals, softball games, shoe shopping, PMS, boyfriends, prom dresses...I could go on!
Welcome home Abby!
You are so pretty, wee one! Your first box of pink is on its way -- with at least 2-4 more to follow soon! Ella is not happy about losing all her shoes, but I told her your big brother Benjamin will teach all about how to love shoes!
Welcome home, everyone!
Why do you keep making that baby cry? She's so precious. I can't wait to meet her. And I hope it's much sooner than how long it took me to meet Benjamin.
Love you guys!
