So, we have been struggling a little with when to move Noah to his big-boy bed. He stopped taking naps sometime last October or so (although his mom still requires he take some quiet time in his bed). So the idea of putting him in the big bed for nap time didn't sound all that appealing (to mom) because mommy was sure that he would just climb out. So, last night we decided we would just put him in their at bedtime and see how things went. We have been sitting in the bed to read stories, so Noah was used to being in the bed. He thought it was a little funny when daddy gave him his nite-nites and animals, but he didn't question it. Until everyone started to leave the room, that is, and he was still in the 'wrong' bed. He scooted right off the bed and chased mommy to the door which she closed in his face. He stood there and cried for a few minutes but was soon very quiet. Mommy and daddy could hardly wait to go check on him because we thought for sure he had fallen asleep on the floor. But, much to our surprise, when we opened the door, this is what we saw... When he woke up this morning, he called for daddy and just laid in his bed until daddy took him out. Now we just have to see if last night was a fluke or if he will really sleep in there from here on out.
