There's no place like home...

Well, we survived our first trip as a family of four. Gone are the days of taking a single roller carry-on and breezing our way through a trip... For such little boys, they sure require a lot of stuff! THANKFULLY, we had three [unpaid] hired hands to help us lug all of our hooplah! (And it is also a good thing they didn't have anything of their own to carry...) The boys flew just fine - not making a peep. Noah got a new backpack filled with new toys that kept him occupied. Benjamin was just happy sleeping in Grandma's lap. We made it to the great-grandparents' in time for dinner on Friday night. We spent Saturday with them as well. Noah, Daddy, Grandpa, and Uncle Scott did sneak away to check out an aquarium while Benjamin got to nap with Great-grandma. Noah really liked their mobile home park because their neighbors had fun yard art to visit - frogs, turtles, alligators. A huge crane came to visit and we fed him some hot dog. Mom wouldn't let Noah chase him though because she was sure the bird would poke his eyes out with his huge beak. Our hotel was a little on the iffy-side but we were all so tired, we slept just fine. Our room was a little chilly so Benjamin had to borrow some of big brother's socks to use as mittens (see picture). Sunday saw us back at the airport ready to head home. Noah did have time to take some flying lessons. He's a pretty good pilot, if we do say so ourselves. He didn't hit a single thing! It was a quick trip, but we did enjoy getting to see the great-grandparents!! (Pictures with great-grandparents and the crane to come. Stay tuned!)
